How To List Property

How to List Property with wegotland.com

Welcome. Listing property with wegotland.com is a simple process. Please read the information below and follow the step-by-step process

Tips for Success Make this a printable section.

  • Be sure to choose the correct “type” for your search, each of your pages are indexed to search engines, and your type is added to the title and meta-tags of your listing.
  • Be aware of keywords; make sure your listings include the key words people would use to find your property, then use those words as appropriate in the listing.
  • Use four or more photos per listing; people love to see photos, but keep these under 350 pixels wide so they download more quickly.

  • original recorded plat
  • original recorded restrictions
  • four digital photographs (more is better)
  • company logo
  • lot price list with acreage sizes

Note: Kinko’s is a great resource and can help you with all these items below.

Step 1: Scanned plat at actual size:

The file must be saved as (.PDF) no wider than 1500 pixels or 20 inches wide in RGB color.

Step 2: Scanned Restrictions:

Scan a full set of recorded restrictions as one file and save as (.PDF). Restrictions must have a stamp of registration in order to comply with our agreement.

Step 3: Photos:

All photos must be saved as .JPG, .GIF or .PDF files, RGB color, and sized to 640 x 480 pixels, 72dpi.

Digital Camera: Be sure to have the camera size set at 640 x 480 pixels, 72dpi. Do not set the camera on the highest setting; it may be sized smaller than 640 x 480

Step 4: Logo Upload:

Scan your logo in digital format. Logo should be saved as .JPG in RGB at 70 x 44 pixels. (Do NOT stretch logo to fit this exact size. Logo should stay proportioned.)

Step 5: Lot Price List:

When you upload individual lot prices, organize your list of lots along with acreage size and pricing to enter all the information at once. You can also enter similar information one time only, so you’ll only need to change pricing and lot sizes.

Please Note:

Saving extensions .JPG or .PDF in RGB color is extremely important! If your images are not saved properly, your page will take too long to upload, causing customers to lose interest.
